In a recent episode, “The Curiosity Diet” we spoke with Coach Jon about his experience with learning to care for himself. After a traumatic experience, Coach Jon found that he had developed a food addiction as a way to soothe his stress and trauma. During our conversation, we learned from Coach Jon about his experience with understanding self-soothing vs. self-love, investing in himself, and learning what messages his actions were giving to his body. He learned to take little conscious steps (like brushing his teeth every morning) to create change.
